#備受期待的第十四屆AfA雙年會議將在充滿活力的台北市舉行，本屆大會主題「反思與跨越」—動物福利運動再思考。由AfA聯盟 Asia for Animals Coalition 與台灣三個動物保護組織--社團法人 台灣動物社會研究會 (EAST)、社團法人台灣防止虐待動物協會(TSPCA)、臺灣動物與人學會 (THASI) 共同主辦。
此活動將為亞洲動物保護運動的各組織與人士提供互動和知識技能交流機會，讓與會者有機會建立聯繫、合作並推動未來的工作。
通過專家學者的專業分享、小組討論、分組會議和沉浸式工作坊，與會者將探索克服挑戰各種動保運動策略，將想法轉化為戰略，並加強針對動物保護議題的倡議與活動。
本次議程將分三大領域：#面對和反省與超越動保運動的困境、 #與企業的對話與學習、#與政府的對話與倡議。期能讓夥伴從過去的困難中汲取經驗，改進未來的策略與議題推廣方式，共同推動在動物保護方面的集體影響力。
大會「參考議程」已上線！活動期間將提供台灣當地特色蔬食和飲品，並安排文化表演與體驗活動！
本屆會議定於 台北萬豪酒店 Taipei Marriott Hotel 舉行，該酒店響應主辦方的動物福利政策，宣布於2024年4月底，於全飯店全面使用100%非籠飼雞蛋，及獲得由台灣動物社會研究會推動的「動物福利標章」稽核驗證牧場鮮奶！
萬豪酒店了解到一家公司採取重視動物福利食材的龐大影響力，成為台灣第一家五星級飯店，全面在旗下六家餐廳、宴會場地、員工餐廳和烘焙坊使用100%非籠飼雞蛋、液蛋及具動物福利標章的鮮奶。
