Care Sheet: Rabbit
Basic Needs: Besides fresh food, clean drinking water and medical treatment, rabbits need sufficient space. If you keep your rabbit in a cage, please let him out daily so that he can run and jump around and ensure it gets enough exercise. Also, rabbits are very territorial and may clash with other rabbits regardless of whether they are of the same or different gender. So, unless you have different cages or enough space to give each its own domain, don’t take on multiple rabbits as pets. Minor changes in their environment can stress rabbits and lead to illness. You can pet, comb or otherwise interact with your rabbit to increase its sense of security and develop a suitable environment.
