11/03午後，天氣晴初次見面，遠遠的就可以看到站立著直挺挺的雞旦，雞旦站在台階上看著我，而等到我靠近的時候，我就受到了雞旦的＂熱烈＂歡迎，雞旦用她宏亮的叫聲叫著我，雞旦很有精神的對我叫了一分鐘左右吧，真的是非常有活力的狗勾～
等到雞旦的心情平復下來之後，中途姊姊給了我肉乾，雞旦一發現我手上的肉乾，眼神瞬間變得非常閃亮，全心全意地盯著肉乾，嘴角的口水也在不知不覺間的流了下來，肉乾給雞旦的那一瞬間，一眨眼肉乾就不見了，而雞旦用她的眼神問了我：還有肉肉嗎？
雞旦吃完零食後，開始陪著她散步，散步的時候雞旦非常有活力的走著，不過跟其她狗狗不一樣的地方在於雞旦在尿尿的時候，常常再蹲完起身之後，才會開始漏出來，而雞旦雖然會想要大便，但是她蹲下後卻大不太出來......
造成雞旦大小便失禁的原因是，在六年前的一場車禍，她的脊椎神經受傷了，當時幾乎毀了她控制大小便的能力，後來在醫生的建議下，協會試了中藥、針炙、電療、膀胱西藥、熱敷、按摩…雞旦漏屎尿的狀況才有了些改善。
雞旦剛來協會時的靈魂也殘破不堪。她對人防備心重、護食、護地盤…那時候光是為雞旦上項圈牽繩就是一個挑戰。要讓她走出戶外更得要冒著被咬的危險硬拖；而她被強迫出去後走幾步就死命往回走，想帶她出門一趟總把人搞的精疲力盡。後來協會為雞旦規劃一系列的社會化課程，在大家的努力下，雞旦從一個忸怩、自閉、不快樂的孩子慢慢轉趨成熟；會坐下、握手、等的指令。個性忠誠、依賴(卻又喜歡獨處)、撒嬌、脆弱、跟棉花有仇、把球咬的哀哀叫…在在都顯示出她現在是快樂而有安全感的孩子。雖然對人慢熱，但一旦熟悉了就超級賽奶。
雞旦來到協會也快要六年了，她到現在還在等願意全心全意愛著她的主人出現，如果那個人是你的話，我們隨時都歡迎您～

The first time we met, I could see Eve standing confidently from afar. She stared at me closely from the steps and welcomed me with her barks when I approached. She barked at me for a minute or so, such an energetic dog she was.
After she calmed down, her foster mom handed me some dog treats. The moment Eve caught sight of the treat, her eyes lit up immediately. She stared at the treat wholeheartedly, mouth watering. When I finally gave her the treat, it was gone in a heartbeat. She then looked up at me and asked me with her longing eyes "Can I have some more?!”
We then went for a walk. She trailed energetically alongside me. At first glance, she seemed just like any other dog. But when Eve squatted down to urinate, it was obvious that she had a weak bladder. When she needed to defecate, nothing came out.
A car accident six years ago took away her control over her bowel and bladder. Her spinal nerve was severely damaged, which almost ruined her ability to walk or hold in urine and stool. After trying traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, electrotherapy, medication, hot towels, and massages, Eve finally showed signs of recovery.
When Eve first arrived at the TSPCA, she was a dog with a broken soul. She was wary of humans, food-aggressive, and territorial. Getting the leash on her was challenging. To bring her out for walks, we had to drag her a bit and risked being bitten. Trying to take her outside was very difficult. TSPCA then organized a series of socialization courses for Eve. With the help of a trainer, Eve grew out of her shy and nervous shell and transformed into a brand-new dog. She now knows how to follow commands like sit, shake hands, and wait. She is loyal, cuddly (but also enjoys her alone time), affectionate, and sweet. She has a grudge against cotton and chews on balls until they break... Eve is a happy and calm dog now. Although she is slow to warm up to people, she will love you once she gets to know you.
