When Lee was reported to the TSPCA, he was living with another cat companion. Lee was later diagnosed with hernia and feline herpes, which may be the reason why he was relinquished by his owner.
When our inspectors first arrived on site, we found 2 adorable cats living in a small cage together nearby a traditional market. There was a dirty cat litter box with flies everywhere! Even in this awful environment, Lee and his friend loved people very much and would try to get our attention.
After speaking with the owner and several on-site visits, the owner provided the animals with a bigger cage (about 3 feet tall), as well as clean water and food. But the cat litter box was filthy and dirty as before. Owner decided to give up Lee to the TSPCA but not his friend. The owner promised that they will bring the second cat home instead of keeping her outside in the cage. He was short tempered so we decided to take Lee first and a subsequent visit to check on the remaining cat.
Now Lee is looking for his forever home. Though he has a hernia and feline herpes, he is very sweet and deserves a loving family. Please contact us!
